The Indian Association for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (IAPEN) is an organization in the field of parenteral and enteral nutrition and promotes basic research, clinical research, advanced education, organization of consensus statements about clinical care and quality control.
The Workshop on Critical Care Nutrition is hosted and organized by The Indian Association for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (IAPEN)-Kochi Regional Centre, Department of Home Science, St. Teresa's College, Ernakulam and Department of Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics, Lourdes Hospital, Ernakulam on July to 9th July 2016 at Department of Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics, Lourdes Hospital, Ernakulam, Kerala.
The workshop was designed for medical, nursing & nutrition professionals who were interested in learning nutrition assessment tools, early enteral nutrition, approaches to parenteral nutrition, immunonutrition, disease specific nutrition for fighting againist Iatrogenic Malnutrition. The workshop also contains hands on training on Nutritional calculations, Enteral Diet, Parenteral Nutrition Products handling and mixing and Enteral Nutrition Devices.

Ernakulam, widely referred to as Kochi constitutes the eastern, mainland portion of the twin cities of Ernakulam – Kochi in central Kerala, India. The city is the most urban part of Kochi and has lent its name to the Ernakulam district. Ernakulam is called the commercial capital of the state of Kerala. The Kerala High Court, the Office of the Corporation of Cochin and the Cochin Stock Exchange are situated here.
